Majority of Skaala Group sold to Austrian IFN Group


Austrian IFN-Holding AG bought 80% of Finnish window manufacturer Skaala Group.

The contract was signed in Ylihärmä 24 October. CAG acted as an advisor to Skaala Group.

Skaala is a family business established in 1956 and owned by the Hautanen family. The turnover of Skaala Group was EUR 96 millions in 2016 and it has about 400 employees. Skaala manufactures and sells wooden and wood-aluminium windows and doors in Finland, Sweden, Russia and UK. The headquarters is located in Ylihärmä, Finland.

IFN/Internorm Group generates net sales of EUR 500 millions and employs over 3000 persons.The group has several factories in Europe.  The group is owned by the Austrian Klinger family, and it was established in 1931. The group manufacturers windows, doors, facades and sunscreens and is represented in 22 European countries.
